‘Revues and Romance’ - walking tour

‘Revues and Romance’ is the theme of an evening walking tour organised by Reykjavik City Museum tomorrow evening, Thursday 30 July, at 8pm.
The tour will take in buildings of historical interest around Reykjavik, illustrated musically by the talents of tour guides Sveinn Enok Jóhannsson and Gunnari Ó. Kvaran.
Jóhannsson is a classical singer with experience of opera and will be singing various songs connected in some way which the buildings visited. He will be accompanied by Kvaran on the accordion.
Historian Helga Maureen Gylfadóttir will be further setting the scene with historical information about places on the tour.
The walk begins tomorrow at 8pm and leaves from Grófarhús, Tryggvagata 15. It should take around 90 minutes. The walk is free of charge and suitable for people of all mobility and fitness.
