TV chef Katie Lee wears Icelandic designer dress
US food critic and television cook Katie Lee has appeared twice on TV wearing dresses by Icelandic designer Hildur Yeoman.
The dresses from Yeoman's Flora collection have been a roaring success in Iceland and now it seems their fame is becoming more widespread. "Lee's stylist is Icelandic," explains Hildur Yeoman to mbl.is. "Edda Guðmundsdóttir came to the Kiosk store where I sell my clothes and bought a few dresses for Lee."
Guðmundsdóttir has also styled US stars such as Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga.
"It's nice that she's wearing the dresses, she's a beautiful woman. I haven't seen her shows but I gather she's somewhat of a style icon in the US. There's been considerable traffic from the US now on the Kiosk website to order Flora dresses.
"The range is inspired by Icelandic herbal magic. There are several different prints available called Lovespell and Powerspell. The dress worn by Lee is called White Witch," explains Yeoman.
