One of Reykjavik's coolest joints, Kaffi Vinyl on Hverfisgata is famous for its laid-back atmosphere and fabulous vegan food. Now, they're opening an in-house record shop to collide with the Reykjavik Record Shop day on Saturday, a day jam-packed with Icelandic bands and other festivities.

Vinyl, obviously named after vinyl records prides itself in a great record collection when regulars can even pop a favourite vinyl on the record player. The new vinyl market takes place from noon on Saturday until late and there will also be a special presentation of Swedish record label Höga Nord Records.

Famous Icelandic DJ's Maggi Lego (of GusGus) and DJ Margeir along with DJ's from NonYoBiz Records will spin music all day long, followed by a performance by the coolest electro-goth band in town, Kælan Mikla.

Take the opportunity to enjoy happy-hour drinks or to indulge in the famous vegan menu which includes a variety of wraps, soups and veggie lasagna.

Vinyl is located on Hverfisgata 76 in downtown Reykjavik. Check out their Facebook page HERE.
