Waterslide down Reykjavik shopping street on Saturday!

For the first time in the history of Reykjavik, a waterslide has been fitted to Bankastræti, the lower part of Laugavegur  main shopping street for the public to enjoy on Saturday.

The waterslide is sponsored by telecommunications company Nova and the fun starts at noon. 

All shops in the city centre are open until 5 am on Saturday with summer sales starting and there will be a variety of live music acts to rev up the atmosphere.
