"Vegan" cookies confuse tourist in Iceland
Veganesti is a popular oat cookie found in most gas stations in Iceland. A tourist travelling in Iceland was very fond of these cookies, so much that he posted a picture of his last one on Instragram, admiring the handy vegan snack.
It seems the tourist was a bit baffled by the Icelandic language, as the name Veganesti has nothing to do with vegan. The name literally means "a snack for the road" in Icelandic.
