Travel warning in Iceland

No travel weather in the north and east part of Iceland today, says the Met Office. Slowly improving in the west by afternoon.

The weather forcast for Iceland today:

North 13 to 20 m/s, but 20 to 30 in the east part. Considerable snow and blowing snow in the north and east. Occasional snowshowers in the south and west and blowing snow also there. Gradually decreasing wind in the west. Frost 0 to 6 degrees C, but colder in the evening. Strong gale (more than 20 m/s) and snowshowers in the east tomorrow but much ighter wind in the west and dry.
