Over one million tourists to Iceland

The total number of tourists to Iceland amounted to 1,1 million in the year 2014 according to figures from the marketing director of the Associated Icelandic Ports (Faxaflóahafnir). The Icelandic Tourist Board previously released the figure 915 thousand and this new figure includes the number of tourists who have arrived in Iceland via ferries or cruise ships. This means that tourists to the country are constantly on the increase.
