Wizz Air to launch Gdansk-KEF route

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced a new route to Iceland from Gdansk in Poland. Services will begin in June with a twice-weekly flight on Mondays and Fridays.

Wizz Air is the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Keflavík International (KEF) is the airline’s 111^th destination.

The number of airlines operating at KEF is constantly rising, with 21 airlines currently listed on the airport’s website operating flights over this year’s winter and summer schedule.
