Like drinking water in the wind...

More news about unseasonable weather in Iceland was reported in Iceland Monitor today (see ‘Snow to return this week?’), but one thing that appears to be old news are the strong winds of earlier this year.

Here is a little look back at the weather we all ‘enjoyed’ this spring in Iceland, courtesy of American tourist Mark Tretter.

The Icelandic weather – as is often the case with all of us – got the better of Tretter, as both his bottle of water and ultimately he himself came a cropper in the strong winds of North-East Iceland. Enjoy…
