Storm warning for South East Iceland

The Iceland Met Office warns of stormy weather with strong gusts of wind in South East Iceland and the East Fjords today accompanied by heavy rain. Some gusts of wind could reach 45 metres per second.
The heavy rainfall could cause rivers and streams to grow in volume. Travellers are urged to be careful.
