Storm expected on Saturday in Iceland
An area of low depression is on its way to Iceland and a storm is expected to hit on Saturday.
This will be the first real autumn storm accompanied by heavy rain through most parts of the country.
Windspeeds could reach up to 50 m/s (144 km/klst, 90 mph) and driving conditions will be bad in almost all of South Iceland and the highlands.
Anyone hiking in Iceland are also warned to stay put on Saturday,
The most rain is to be expected in South East Iceland and the East Fjords. Temperatures will be between 8 - 16 degrees, warmest in the North.
