Holuhraun eruption up close from the air

Árni Sæberg, a photojournalist at mbl, flew over the Holuhraun eruption to capture some amazing photos, and this powerful footage, where you can see molten rock flying into the air. 

The eruption shows no signs of slowing down. The lava bursts dozens of meters into the air from the rift, but so far, the eruption does neither pose a direct threat to the people of Iceland nor to air-traffic.
