No changes are seen in Holuhraun

No obvious changes are seen in the volcanic activity at the eruption site in Holuhraun.

Seismic activity at Bárðarbunga remains at stable levels. Since 19:00 yesterday (04.10.) around 30 earthquakes have been detected on the caldera rim (~20 since midnight), of which 12 exceeded magnitude 3 (11 since midnight). Strongest events were M4.1 at 02:40 and M4.8 at 03:54 on the northern caldera rim.

Comparably low earthquake rates have been measured in the dike intrusion, just around 10 small events within the last 12 hours (~5 since midnight). All below magnitude 2.
