Rescue team members watching a roadblock on a road leading to the site of the volcanic eruption in Holuhraun in Iceland are often visited in the evenings by the fox Gosi.

The main reason is probably not the company but rather the fact that the rescue team members have given Gosi a small bite every time he visits. As a repayment Gosi is willing to pose while some pictures are being taken.

The name Gosi is not just any random one but derives from the Icelandic word „eldgos“ meaning volcanic eruption. Furthermore Gosi is also the Icelandic name for the popular Disney character Pinocchio.
