Iceland edition of Glamour magazine on the way

"It's a dream come true for me to develop a magazine accompanied by experienced people in the field," says Álfrún Pálsdóttir who will become the first editor of the Icelandic edition of Condé-Nast publication Glamour which is also the first international fashion magazine published in the country. "It's a unique chance to work for one of the largest publishing companies in the world whose magazines include Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ," said Pálsdóttir in an interview with Mbl.is style website, Smartland. 

Photographer Silja Magg, who has been New York based for several years,  is the magazine's fashion editor. "There are exciting times ahead," says Pálsdóttir who will be attending training at Condé Nast in Paris and in London for the next few weeks. The first edition will be published early next year.
