No winter snow in sight

Icelanders can't complain about the weather at the moment which is warm and mild with a southerly breeze. The weather isn't remotely Christmasey these days with no snow and no need for down jackets.

The temperatures are unusually high for the season and span from 3 to 10 degrees. Roads are clear in most parts of the country although some roads are icy in the north of Iceland.  The road administration has warned drivers about increased reindeer traffic in east and south-east Iceland.
