Director and producer Baltasar Kormákur is the face of Icelandic outdoor clothing store 66°North in Denmark. His portraits adorn the windows of the 66°North store at the centre of Copenhagen and full-page ads are hitting Danish media.
"We needed an internationally famous Icelandic face for our campaign to promote our new store in Copenhagen. Baltasar Kormákur fitted the bill perfectly and he will be using clothing from 66°North both for work and play," says marketing director Bjarney Harðardóttir. "The new store is an exciting step for the company as it's the first store for us abroad," she explains." We've had a really good reception in Copenhagen and people are excited about our products."
Baltasar Kormákur co-owns a creative visual effects and animation studio in Reykjavik and has directed feature films including Contraband, 2Guns and Everest to name a few.
