Shooting stars and northern lights

Lucky Helgi Guðmundsson who took this beautiful photograph of a shooting star amidst a veil of northern lights on November 16th. Guðmundsson, who sent us the photograph was at Laugarvatn, south Iceland. The bright star to the right on the photograph is Vega in the constellation of Lyra.
