Storm warning

A heavy storm is expected tomorrow and on Monday in the south and southwest of the country with considerable precipitation. Winds of up to 50 m/s can be expected near the mountains. The Icelandic Met Office urges people to stay indoors and to secure all loose objects.
The storm is expected to hit in the afternoon and reach a peak at 9 p.m and last until Monday morning.
Einar Sveinbjörnsson at the met office expects a storm similar to one in February 1991 which caused a lot of damage to property.
