Interview: The Icelandic twin girls in Ariko Inaoka's photographs
Photographs of twin sisters Erna and Hrefna by Japanese photographer Ariko Inaoka went viral a few weeks ago and were published on Buzzfeed, The Guardian, Cosmopolitan and Bored Panda to name a few. The identical twins have been photographed every year for six years since 2006 and are now fifteen years old.
Erna and Hrefna practice ballet six times per week and study at Hagaskóli in Reykjavík.
Mbl.is met with Erna and Hrefna to hear how they felt about becoming an internet sensation.
