The hurricane-force storm shown in 40 seconds
A north-easterly hurricane-force storm, measuring at over 30 meters per second, is raging in the north of the Icelandic West Fjords and is expected to peak at around 9 o'clock tonight.
The video shows in 40 seconds the development of wind strength in Iceland from 9 a.m. GMT on Tuesday untill 6 p.m on Thursday, based on wind forecasts from the Icelandic Met Office.
This evening, strong winds are expected in most areas of the country.
