Crazy northern lights over Akureyri

Photographer Micha Andreas captured amazing footage of northern lights dancing over the town of Akureyri in north Iceland on Boxing Day, December 26th. "The northern lights were just crazy. I've never seen them moving so much," Andreas said to mbl.is. He added that he was surprised that they appeared so clearly on camera. 

Andreas used no effects on the footage below, but the dance of the northern lights is played at a slightly faster speed.
