Live action from the Holuhraun eruption
Around 30 earthquakes have been measured at Bárðarbunga in the last 24 hours. Five earthquakes were at a magnitude between 4 and 5. The largest earthquake occurred on the northeastern edge of the caldera at 18:47 last night, January 8th measuring 5,1 on the scale.
The eruption is clearly visible on the Mila webcam today and the intensity of the eruption remains the same according to information from the Icelandic met office.
