Four cats of the Bengal variety were stolen last night from Nátthagi, south Iceland, which specialises in this expensive breed. The perpetrators left a navy-blue bra and leopard-print leggings at the scene of the crime.

Breeder Ólafur Sturla Njálsson found a broken lock on one of the cat enclosures and four of his cats missing. He reported this immediately to the police as Bengal cats, which are spotted like leopards, are very valuable.

Njálsson found one pair of footprints in the snow, probably a woman's, and he also found a navy blue bra in size 34B and a pair of leopard print leggings which seem to have been placed underneath a tyre which was probably stuck in snow.
