Real estate prices rise in Reykjavík
Real estate prices in six postcodes of Reykjavík went from 12,2 to 19,4 percent between January 2013 and December 2014 according to an article in today's Morgunblaðið.
According to Ingibjörg Þórðardóttir, director of the association of real estate agents in Iceland, that those buying more expensive properties have to have very high wages to get a credit rating. The situation is obviously even harder for those with middle income.
