Future music geniuses

Sónar kids took place for the first time this year at the Sónar Reykjavík festival in which 48 children were introduced to making music using i-pads. Teaching them were musicians and music teachers Björn Kristjánsson and Rúna Esradóttir and they were also visited by a number of Icelandic musicians including DJ Flugvél og Geimskip and Hermigervill.

The Sónar kids workshop took place over the space of four days on Harpa's eight floor. The project was founded by Sónar Reykjavík and Harpa and supported by RÚV national television and telecommunications company Síminn.
