Mysterious lights over glacier

Mysterious lights over Skálafellsjökull in Vatnajökull glacier were spotted last night in the town of Höfn and the Icelandic coast guard were notified as it may be possible that the lights are SOS flares.
A helicopter from the Icelandic Coast Guard has flown over the area and found nothing yet.
