Storm hits south Iceland

A storm is currently raging in South and South West Iceland with strong winds and snowfall, rain and sleet. Winds will calm down by the afternoon. Another storm is expected on Friday.
The roads through Hellisheiði, Sandskeið and Þrengsli are currently closed. Visibility on roads is very poor and winds up to 35- 45 m/s are expected under Hafnarfjall and Kjalarnes.
