Two Icelanders are the hottest guys on Tinder

Elle.com has published a list of the 20 hottest bachelors on Tinder. Two Icelanders are on the list, the 29 year old Þorsteinn Halldór Þorsteinsson and the 32 year old Sverrir Ingi Óskarsson, both from Reykjavík. 

For those of you unfamiliar with the term Tinder, it's the name of a very popular smartphone dating app. It's particularly popular in Britain. 

Mbl.is managed to get hold of Þorsteinn Halldór Þorsteinsson and asked him abot the Elle vote. He said that he had not had any more Tinder success due to the being placed on the list. 

"Ashley Terrill, a journalist at Elle.com contacted me as she had matched with me on Tinder a few months ago. She asked me whether she could use my profile for the article," he explains. Þorsteinsson, who is a 29 year old chef at Vox restaurant adds that he's been using Tinder for a few months. "It's fun, it's a bit like being on Facebook. I think people like it." 

Þorsteinsson says that he's mostly looking to meet fun people through the app. When he's asked what he's looking for in a partner he says that's complicated. "And then you can't control love." He adds that he leaves a fairly traditional life. He goes to work, goes to the gym and meets up with friends. And which bar in Reykjavík is his favourite? "I usually go to Kalda." 

Now there's a hint for you girls out there.
