Týr rescues 342 refugees

Coast guard ship Týr rescued 342 refugees yesterday from a leaking wooden boat around 50 seamiles northwest of Tripoli. Týr is currently taking part in the Frontex project in the Mediterranean.
Among the refugees were 135 women, several of them pregnant, and 27 children. Weather conditions in the area were good and rescue operations went well.
Over three thousand refugees have been rescued in the Mediterranean in the last few days.
