Iceland to begin Dunkin’ Donuts

American doughnut and coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts has signed a franchise agreement to open sixteen outlets in Iceland over the next five years.

Dunkin’ Donuts was founded in 1950 and is a market leader in hot and cold coffee beverages, doughnuts, bagels and muffins. The franchise agreement provides for sixteen Dunkin’ Donuts outlets throughout Iceland, the majority in Greater Reykjavik.

Dunkin’ Donuts is based in Canton, Massachusetts (US) and currently operates some 11,300 outlets in 36 countries across the world.
