Helicopter rescues exhausted tourist

The Icelandic coastguard helicopter transported an exhausted tourist from Þjófadalur in the highlands earlier today.
Two rescue teams had planned to fetch the man but their vehicles were stuck in snow and mud.
A helicopter was therefore sent instead when the man's location was clear. He is now being transported to Reykjavik.
