Iceland qualify to Euro 2016 last 16, England next
A thrilling last-minute goal has put Iceland through to the last sixteen of Euro 2016.
Two 1-1 draws and this 2-1 victory over Austria gives Iceland five points and puts them in second place in Group F – and qualified directly to the knockouts stages.
This is the first time Iceland’s men have ever taken part in a major international football tournament and this qualification is a truly historic moment for Icelandic football.
Iceland now face next opponents England on Monday in the French city of Nice.
