Forensic evidence confirms that Birna was in the red Kia Rio

The Reykjavik Metropolitan Police have received  confirmation from forensic evidence that Birna Brjánsdóttir, missing for 8 days was indeed inside the red rental car which was driven by two crew members of the Polar Nanoq. Both men are in isolation and suspected of a heinous crime. 

The two suspects may be interrogated again today but so far have denied all charges. Rescue teams recommenced their search of Birna today.
