Two Lithuanian men are still in custody on suspicion of murder in a summer house in the upper county of Árnessýsla County on April 20.

The custody of the two men expires on Wednesday, but a man in his forties was pronounced dead shortly after the arrival of the emergency response team.

Jón Gunnar Þórhallsson, the chief officer at the South Police, tells mbl.is that the investigation is ongoing, but no decision has yet made on whether continued custody of the two men will be requested.
He says that the police have a pretty good picture of what happened in the summer house, but it's being investigated as a homicide case. Four men were initially arrested, but two were later released.
