A whopping 38 percent of Icelandic voters aged 18-49 year old would cast their vote for the Pirate Party if the elections were held today, according to a recent poll. The Pirate Party has been growing in popularity recently and is now the largest political party in Iceland according to polls, with 29.1% of the vote.

Despite the growing popularity, Birgitta Jónsdóttir, MP for the Pirate Party, told mbl.is earlier this week that she does not want to become Prime Minister.

The poll was conducted by Fréttablaðið newspaper.
