Ljósmynd af hreysiketti á baki spætu á flugi hefur vakið gríðarleg viðbrögð á netinu. Myndin er sögð ófölsuð, og því mjög óvenjuleg. Twitter-notendur hafa skemmt sér við að setja saman myndir af ýmsu fólki á baki spætunnar.
Upprunalega myndin er tekin af áhugaljósmyndaranum Martin Le-May og hafa margir náttúrufræðingar klórað sér í hausnum yfir henni. Hvernig getur það verið að spæta nái að fljúga með svo þunga byrði á bakinu?
„Að fuglinn geti flogið er mjög svo óvenjulegt en þó ekki óþekkt,“ segir líffræðingurinn Steve Backshall við Radio 1 í Bretlandi. „Ég hef því enga ástæðu til að efast um að myndin sé ófölsuð.“
Myndin var tekin í Essex á Bretlandseyjum. Ljósmyndarinn segist hafa ætlað að mynda græna spætu fyrir eiginkonuna en skyndilega heyrt mikil óhljóð. Hann sá svo fugl á flugi með lítið spendýr á bakinu. Hann tók margar myndir af þessari óvenjulegu athöfn.
Hann segir að spætan hafi lent rétt hjá sér og þá hafi hreysikötturinn dottið af baki og spætan gripið tækifærið og forðað sér, samkvæmt frétt Guardian.
