Huge iceberg in Eyjafjörður, North Iceland
A massive iceberg is currently at the mouth of Eyjafjörður fjord in North Iceland. The ice has splintered a lot and the National Coastguard warns that the ice particles can be dangerous at night for passing boats.
The iceberg is situated at 66°08.89 18°28,98 at noon today and it is still uncertain whether it will continue into Eyjafjörður or sail past it.
Boats and ships in the area have been alerted and numerous whaling boats have sailed towards it to have a look at it.
