Iceland Has Highest 14-Day COVID-19 Incidence Among Nordic Countries

The 14-day incidence of COVID-19 per 100,000 inhabitants is higher in Iceland than in the rest of the Nordic countries, according to new figures from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
According to ECDC, the 14-day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants is 138.7 in Iceland, 125 in Denmark, 42.7 in Sweden, 29 in Norway and 20.1 in Finland. These figures were collected early this morning.
According to covid.is, updated at 11 am, the 14-day incidence rate in Iceland is 142.1, including border screening.
Looking at all European countries, the country with the highest 14-day incidence per 100,000 people is Spain with 329.2, followed by the Czech Republic with 269.1, France with 231.9, Luxembourg with 184.4, the Netherlands with 179.9, Belgium with 175, and Iceland in seventh place with 138.7.
