Flights canceled tonight and tomorrow morning due to weather

All Icelandair flights from North America to Keflavík tonight have been cancelled due to the weather forecast. Also, all morning flights to Europe tomorrow morning have been cancelled, as have arrivals from Europe in the afternoon.

This is stated in an announcement from Icelandair, which adds that flights to Tenerife and Las Palmas will be delayed, but not cancelled.

Domestic flights to Akureyri and Egilsstaðir tomorrow morning have been cancelled due to the weather.

Alert level raised to orange tomorrow

The airline expects afternoon flights to North America and London to be scheduled for tomorrow, in addition to extra flights set to arrive in Copenhagen in the afternoon.

“All passengers will be automatically rebooked and a new itinerary will be sent by email. Passengers are advised to monitor airline emails and SMS messages regarding the change of flight plan. Contacting Icelandair is not necessary unless a new itinerary is not appropriate,” Icelandair’s announcement stated.
