Pompeo arrives in Iceland

US Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo arrived in Iceland just before noon landing at Air Force Two in Keflavík. He was met at the airport by the national coastguard.
Pompeo is now travelling to Reykjavik and will be meeting Minister for Foreign Affairs, Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarsson in Harpa concert and conference hall. After that he will meet Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir at the Prime Ministry.
He is accompanied by armed security guards. Traffic in some central lanes in Reykjavik could be disrupted due to his arrival.
