Around two thousand people went to Laugardalshöllin yesterday to get the fourth booster shot for Covid-19 or an Influenza shot. All residents in the capital region 60 years or older got an invite to come.
Now you no longer need to wait two weeks between getting the booster shot for Covid-19 and the annual Influenza shot. At Laugardalshöll they are offering to get both shots at the same time for those who choose to do so.

This is a different format than last year, because then people were told that they needed to have two weeks pass between getting the booster shot and an influenza shot.
Wants to see more people in their 80s
Ragnheiður Ósk Erlendsdóttir, the manager for healthcare at the Primary Care Health Centers in the capital region says that everything went well today, but she would have liked to see more people accept the Influenza shot.
A big number of people in their 80s already have been vaccinated with the fourth dose for Covid-19, but still have not had their influenza shot. She hopes that more people in that vulnerable group shows up to get protection against the annual influenza.
