Under the Spainsh milions of slaves died there. Still poor local miners are searching in the mountain for minerals. Wherever one goes in Potosi the Cerro Rico - the rich mountain - can be seen over the houses. Potosí, Bólivía. Borgin í skugga fjalllsins Cerro Rico í rúmlega 4000 m hæð, þar sem voru einhverjar auðugustu silfurnámur allra tíma, arðrændar af Spænskum en undir þeirra stjórn dóu milljónir í námunum. Frá borginni sést hvar fjallið gnæfir yfir.
